Connor Greene

Connor spent a number of years in Falkirk’s very successful academy but was not offered a contract when he turned 18. He used the disappointment as a motivational tool and went from that setback to being an established first team player in League 2 with Shire within a few months. Since his debut for the Shire in 2014/15 he had become a virtual ever present at the heart of defence and has now made more than 150 senior appearances, an incredible amount of appearances given he is still on 22 years old. Connor has an eye for goal and is currently only 4  goals away from equalling the all-time record total of 22 goals scored by a Shire defender.

Connor has been voted the fans’ “Player of the Year” on multiple occasions.
