Signing News: Eddie Malone – Defender

Derek is delighted that Eddie Malone (35) has decided to remain for another season. With over 400 SPFL appearances Eddie’s vast experience showed last season and helped develop players around him. Derek was delighted to retain Eddie for 20/21 season.

Signing News: Adam Murray – Left Back, Right Back, Centre Half, Left Midfield, Right Midfield, Centre Midfield……

Signing again for his 6th season is Adam Murray (23). Young player of the year two years ago Adam has made over 100 1st team appearances across many positions for Shire. He became a prolific goalscorer last season netting twice in 2 games after 100 without finding the net.

Adam’s s versatility make him a key asset withing the squad and everyone at the club is delighted he will be part of the 2020/21 squad.

Signing News: Kieran Gibbons – Midfield

New signing Kieran Gibbons (25) will be no stranger to the Shire support as Kieran captained Lowland league rivals East Kilbride to the championship a few years ago and was also the Player of the year two years running.

The combative and robust midfielder was someone who has been high on Derek’s wanted list for many seasons.

Kieran started his career as a teamate of Nicky Low at Aberdeen before moving on to Livingston. He has played over 100 SPFL matches across the Premiership, Division 1 & 2 while also making over 100 appearance for East Kilbride in the Lowland League.

Derek said of the signing ” Kieran is a player I have admired for many seasons and was always a tough opponent whenever we met on the park with no ball going uncontested, a true competitor and a winner. Given the clubs who were wanting Kieran we are delighted he has committed his future to the Shire for 20/21″.
