KINGY MAY NEED OP
Shire defender David King has been told he may need an operation on damaged knee cartilage which could keep him out of action for a number of weeks.
The central defender has been hit by the problem in recent weeks and coach Jim McInally says it is a setback.
"It's a blow because Kingy is a key player for us," said Jim. "We will just have to wait and see how things go but, at this stage of the seasonwe do need everyone fit and available."
The coach thinks the problem has not been helped by the weather which has forced the team to train indoors.
"The fact that we are training in halls with their hard floors might be a factor but we hope that we can get him back right as quickly as possible."
