SKIPPER ON THE MEND

Shire captain Craig Tully is expected to take another step towards a comeback on Monday.

He is due in hospital to have the plaster cast on his foot removed.

His broken bone will then be assessed by the doctors and, if he is given the all-clear, Craig should be able to resume training almost right away.

The injury was sustained in the 3-2 win over Berwick Rangers on 6th February. Ironically, the skipper was making a substitute appearance in the game as he attempted to come back from a completely seperate injury.

The 12 minutes he managed in that game is his only game time since December.
