UNDER-19'S SCORE GOOD WIN

While the first team were going down to a disappointing defeat, Shire's under-19 team were scoring a good win in the league on Tuesday night.

They won 2-1 against Ayr United at Stirling University. The Shire scorers were Lewis Elder and Josh Mullin.

It was their third league victory of the season and the result lifts them to third bottom, swapping places with Annan Athletic.

The team are next in action on Sunday afternoon when they visit Partick Thistle.
